The Underage Drinking Prevention Program is a pilot program that focuses on reducing underage drinking, drinking and driving, and traffic fatalities. The first phase of the project involves gathering underage drinking data through surveys, community assessments and youth focus groups. Phase two is the findings from the needs assessments which will guide the selection and implementation of policies, programs and practices proven to be effective in research settings and communities. The project works in partnership with the Valencia Community Partnership and various Valencia County youth coalitions and local law enforcement.
