(Program:  Head Start/Location: Various) BA or AA in Early Childhood Education or BA/AA in related field of study must have a minimum of 18 Credit Hours in Early Childhood.  Experience working with infants and toddlers ages 0-5 years in a group setting.  Must be able to read, write & understand English. HEAD START DIRECTOR OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES

(Program:  Head Start/Location:  Head Start Administrative Offices) Responsible for the federally mandated duties of the mental health content area expert and duties of the mental health professional for the entire YDI Head Start Program. Additionally, the Director of mental health services supervises other mental health professionals in Northern counties of Rio Arriba and Taos.   Must be licensed by the State of NM in psychology, counseling, social work or a related mental health field.  Mental Health Professionals must have a LPCC, LISW or Ph.D. plus six years of experience providing clinical services with an emphasis in serving young children and their families (four of those years must have been providing direct clinical supervision).A Mental Health Professional must have acquired a thorough understanding of dynamics of early childhood psychological development as evidenced by one or more courses at a graduate level in developmental psychology, and the ability to recognize/identify needs of children, youth and families.  These abilities must include understanding of infant and children from birth through five years of age. Bilingual preferred.  $2,215.14 Bi-Weekly. Posting Closes:  7/25/14.
