Family Outreach

Family Outreach (FO) is funded by the State of New Mexico’s Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD).

The program targets families who need immediate assistance to ensure their success and reduce the chances of being involved with CYFD. All referrals are from CYFD and the community. YDI will work with families whose cases have been screened out of the state central intake (SCI) system. Referrals range from housing needs, school attendance, food insecurities, homeless prevention, and or transportation. Staff will provide case management and advocacy to assist families to meet their needs. Staff will assist families up the three months. Services are available in the following counties: Bernalillo; Valencia; Torrance; Eddy; Cibola; South Santa Fe. Only referrals from CYFD and the community are accepted.
