YDI’s Teen Outreach Program is aimed at reducing the onset of first-time pregnancies among adolescents by educating middle and high school students and raising community awareness, and strengthening leadership skills.
The program recruits student participants from Valencia County schools. This program has received an Emmy award for a documentary on teen pregnancy prevention.
