YDI Housing Programs

Amistad Crisis Shelter

Ages 12-17

A short-term (14-30 days) program that provides residential services to youth.

Casa Hermosa – Transitional Living Services

Ages 16-21

A residential transitional living services program for youth  who are runaway, homeless, or aging out of state custody (foster or institutional care).

Casa South – Transitional Living Program

Ages 16-21

Casa South is a transitional Living Program that will provide services to youth transitioning to independence.

Fresh Start

We are not accepting applications, referrals, or waitlist requests at this time.

Gateway Family Services Program

**Availability is limited, and a waitlist is in effect. All referrals are generated through the City of Albuquerque’s website.**

Funded by the City of Albuquerque, this program works with homeless families as they transition from temporary lodging to supportive housing.

Provides a variety of services to meet the needs of families in their respective communities.

ONLY CYFD referrals are accepted.

Casa North – Transitional Living for Young Adults (TLYA)

Ages 16-23

A residential transitional living services program for youth. Priority is given to youth in CYFD custody who are participating in the Fostering Connections program, as well as those involved with juvenile justice and/or tribal social services. Community referrals are accepted, but they require CYFD approval.

Casa Sunrise

Ages 14-17

Casa Sunrise is a CYFD-funded program to work with youth who are impacted by human trafficking. ONLY CYFD & Law Enforcement referrals accepted.

H.O.P.E. House

A CYFD-funded, multi-service home exclusively for females, designed to prevent youth from staying in CYFD offices. ONLY CYFD referrals are accepted.
