Amistad Crisis Shelter

Immediate Support for Youth in Need

Amistad Crisis Shelter is a short-term program (14-30 days) that provides residential services to youth aged 12-17.

The YDI Amistad Crisis Shelter operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

The following services are available while residing at the shelter:

  • Assessment

  • Case management

  • Counseling/therapy

  • Crisis intervention

  • Educational/vocational assistance

  • Job training and skills development

  • Life and social skills training

  • Recreational activities

  • Referral assistance

  • Short-term residential shelter care
