Parenting Support and Engagement

At the heart of our Head Start program is a strong commitment to empowering families as essential partners in their children’s learning and development. Guided by the Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (PFCE) Framework, we build meaningful, goal-oriented relationships that support school readiness, lifelong learning, and family well-being.
Youth Development Inc. (YDI) uses an evidence-based curriculum that supports the whole child through developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Our commitment to research-based practices also extends to our work with families. We provide parenting support based on evidence-based strategies that help caregivers build strong, healthy relationships with their children.
We partner with families to help them reach their own self-sufficiency goals, offering personalized support and access to resources that promote stability, growth, and long-term success.
