Peer Support for Shelter Residents Facing Substance Use Challenges

Offers peer support services to adults 18 and older who are experiencing homelessness and substance use-related issues, to individuals residing at the Gateway West Shelter. Peer support services help individuals reintegrate into the community, build on their existing relationships, and form new connections, including job referrals and training opportunities. This program offers peer support for led groups and community engagement activities.

To qualify for YDI-GWTR, one must have substance use issues, be experiencing homelessness, and reside at the Gateway West Shelter.
