Helping Families Before Crisis Escalates

Family Outreach (FO) is funded by the State of New Mexico’s Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD).

The program targets families who require immediate assistance to ensure their success and reduce the likelihood of involvement with CYFD. All referrals are from CYFD and the community. YDI will work with families whose cases have been screened out of the state central intake (SCI) system. Referrals range from housing needs, school attendance, food insecurity, homeless prevention, and/or transportation. YDI staff provide up to three months of case management and advocacy to help families address these needs.

Services are available in the following counties: Bernalillo, Valencia, Torrance, Eddy, Cibola, and South Santa Fe.
