Helping Families Before Crisis Escalates

Family Outreach (FO) is funded by the State of New Mexico’s Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD).

The program targets families who need immediate assistance to ensure their success and reduce the chances of being involved with CYFD. All referrals are from CYFD and the community. YDI will work with families whose cases have been screened out of the state central intake (SCI) system. Referrals range from housing needs, school attendance, food insecurities, homeless prevention, and or transportation. Staff will provide case management and advocacy to assist families in meeting their needs. Staff will assist families for the three months.

Services are available in the following counties: Bernalillo, Valencia, Torrance, Eddy, Cibola, and South Santa Fe. Only referrals from CYFD and the community are accepted.
