Building Leaders, Reducing Risks
YDI’s Teen Outreach Program is designed to prevent the onset of first-time pregnancies among adolescents by educating middle and high school students, increasing community awareness, and developing leadership skills.
The program recruits student participants from schools in Valencia County. This program has received an Emmy award for a documentary on teen pregnancy prevention.
