Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to break the bank. Here are some ways to celebrate this special day of love with your significant other and will make your wallet happy too.

Movie Night!

Not everyone has the time to sit down, relax and watch a movie with their significant other. If that is a rare occasion for you, have a movie night! Make a big bowl of popcorn, grab a blanket and watch that movie or series you have always talked about watching but haven’t gotten around to it. You could even sign up for a free trial of one of the many streaming services or sub-channels of Amazon Prime. If you don’t have an Amazon Prime account, I’m sure one of your friends will let you borrow their password for a night.

Candlelight Dinner.

Okay, it’s a little cliche, but oh so romantic! Candles are inexpensive and can really set the mood. You don’t even have to get fancy with the food. Heck, you could cook a frozen pizza if you wanted. just turn off the lights and light a couple of candles. This works great as a surprise four significant other. So simple and oh so thoughtful.

Groupon.

People forget about Groupon all the time. I know I do. Simply search “date night” and see what options are available near you. This is a great option if you’re struggling to come up with ideas.

Watch The Sunset.

This can be as simple or as complex as you want. And the best part is, you can do it anywhere. If you’re not opposed spending a little cash, take the tram up and watch the sunset from the deck.
