This program reimburses eligible in-home registered or licensed child care providers to assist them in providing nutritious meals prepared according to approved menus that meet all federal and state food nutrition guidelines.

Program staff provides training and ongoing quality assurance to providers participating in the program to ensure quality meals are being provided.

Providers serve these meals to children in their care. Ages served: Must be at least 18 years of age and certified by the State of New Mexico Children, Youth, and Families Department to provide childcare services in the home.
